Becker 4201 flashing low volts problem
bodex replied to bodex's topic in Instruments, Radios and Electronics
No still faults. Becker said to send it away as it may be a internal failure. Will cost a fair whack to fix it, I purchased it second hand with the description of it working fine. -
Hi all, Just installed a Becker 4201 into my home built. During power on testing the units led continuously flashed low voltage and shows 7volts. Voltage check on battery end shows 13v, same as volts on the pins on radio plug. Anyone had similar problems? Solutions? Hoping maybe it's just pins the need some contact cleaner on them. Thanks

Yeah I found this info and spoke to RAA. However their privacy rules won't allow them to give me any owner/builder info unless I've purchased the aircraft. They didn't seem to understand I need more information to support the purchase.

Yeah, did you buy the nieuport in Townsville? I was looking at that too. Yes this is the one for sale, looks like my next project. Thanks for the help

Hi all, I'm in the process of buying a Australian built ultralight and I'm chasing some info. I've attached a picture to this post, the info I have so far is. Build in 1997 buy Andrew Richards (believed deceased) and Raymond hill under the names skybound aviation, aircraft called ar-5. Flew 10hrs of testing Held a RAA ergo of 10-1884. I'm chasing any info anyone may have on the history of this aircraft. Any help would be awesome. Cheers Bodie
