Guest Darren Masters Posted December 1, 2008 Share Posted December 1, 2008 Does anybody know what the two aircraft this morning were over the Sydney CBD? Noticed them while on the Eastern Distributor at work. One looked like a 727 with a chase aircraft following it. There was also a news chopper hovering nearby but not sure which station. Any ideas? Guest Chainsaw Posted December 1, 2008 Share Posted December 1, 2008 Hey Daz, I wonder if it was the Mineralthingy MD-82? If it was VH-DHE you would have noticed it, so we could rule that out. Maybe one of the old AAE 727's (new freight owner)? The other 727's that come here are the Transmile that replaces DHE when it's on maint or the Heavy Lift jobby that sometimes drops in. Hey if anyone is interested, our Global XRS demonstrator will be doing some low level photoshots over the Harbor the next couple days, based at YSSY...
