Marty_d
I reckon there would have been and audible "SNAP!" as 400 sphincters closed in unison.
facthunter
Some pretty wild rudder inputs there. Watch it a few times and keep your eye on the rudder movements.. Nev
kgwilson
The horizontal stabiliser moves around a lot too. The 45 degree snap turn on the touchdown bounce must have really tested the undercarriage & tyres as well as passengers necks. Depending on how full it was there would probably be at least 400 tonnes being thrown around like a big leaf.
FlyBoy1960
I think it was all helped by the wet runway. If it was dry with good grip the result may have been different. Either way its still a long way from a good landing.
boleropilot
should have diverted - if the gear had come up through the wings there would have been one giant fireball - if that's how Emirates fly I won't fly with them
facthunter
It was all going quite well until the "kick it straight" was overdone. Nev
