For one thing, the 144 to 148 MHz amateur radio band. Not that an airband radio would be useful as I doubt anyone uses AM on this band anymore.144 to 145.99 is used for SSB and AM or CW, while the rest is used by channelised FM.

 

One of the more modern uses on the lower end of the band is Packet Radio, for inter computer communication and in days of yore, radioteletype.
