facthunter Posted August 2, 2013 Share Posted August 2, 2013 We've been getting full cyclonic systems instead if troughs , down south too.. Storms with lightning which normally is a spring and summer thing. Been studying weather all my life and can't recall this type of pattern in this time of the year. I tell the tourists if they stay in bed until 9am they wouldn't know it was winter. 10am and 20 degrees, cloudless with 10kt winds, right now. Pity we haven't got a flyable plane.
