The Airport Services Group Ballina Aero Club Inc. will be operating the Birdsville Airport during the Birdsville Races weekend. This is a weekend when hundreds of aviators gather at Birdsville to experience the outback. Of course many also come by road. We hope that you are able to join us at Birdsville. Our members and the Club supports the Royal Flying Doctor Service Qld as well as initiatives such as Angel Flight, Rescue Helicopter, Aviation History and Heritage, Great Eastern Fly In at Evans Head, Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia, Australian Aircraft Owners Association and Recreational Aviation Australia. The Club advocates safety and security in the skies and good airmanship. For those who fly into Birdsville Aerodrome, you are able to become a member of the exclusive Royal Birdsville Aero Club.
