dazza 38
Hi Dex, The Stampe VH-WEF on the screen, used to live at Caloundra around 1997/1998. Only for a short time. I love that aeroplane.
Spin
Lovely video Dexter, glad to see someone is getting some flying in - rain and consequent soggy ground scuppered my plans for the weekend. One question though, I didn't see a certain Zephyr featured??
Guest DWB
Thanks Carl & no, & we had 2 there! My Atec partner Sean flew in as well. I was in a deep conversation with the President of Wall's Air Club, John Murphy (Wallsend) when Sean came in so didn't get a vid of his landing or anything & he took off behind me to head home. I figured it was all about the Tigers really. It really was a great day. 20 AC flying in to somewhere like Rylstone is really big in my book & Rob Loneragan has a great setup there & I hope his Airpark www.rylstoneaerodrome.com.au takes off well for him. Some may want to check out this nearby place "Inglewood" (pdf attached) as well for a visit. Some of the attendees were staying there. Spin
Looks great, I just love that sort of thing at a country airstrip. Really disappointed that we weren't able to get out to Kilcoy for the QVAG Kilcoy Kapers today - old aircraft and grass strips are special. Guest DWB
Weather sure has been a pain this summer. Not brilliant here today, we're getting a spin off (no pun intended) from what's happening up your way. The Tigers might have trouble departing today as I see on the radar they have already had 0.4mm since 9am out there but the cloud is relatively high with vis 9999 (here)......... We've had a few sprinkles here. Shame about Kilcoy.
