Nice Leds but I need the 600kg chute Dennis !!!!! not sure about that over the other hose joint you have done up in the tank area I would find a proper size to size adapter joiner I think

Well i only need the 500 =) , good low weight...

Were the rivnuts you used steel or aluminium? I had very little trouble with the steel ones on my tanks, except if you try to pull them too hard the thread pulls off centre, but there is no need to pull them that hard anyway. Aluminium one though are a real problem, nearly useless, the mandrel tears the thread out of them really easily so the screw probrably will too.

Its ALU, after a while you kinda felt when it was clashing, awful.

So i spent all day finishing small details and im planning to close the front skin tomorrow.

As last time, the tip details wasn't a perfect fit, i had to make a few customs, also discovered i satten a bracket wrong and had to move it, anyway this tip looked better than the other, al in all it went faster this time since i knew how to do it and had help turning the wing several times witch helped allot.

Last photo is of the inspection hatch console, here the manual says, use flush mount rivets, so do they want my to countersink the holes? its very unclear some times.

Ended the evening with hanging on the front skin.

They do mean you to counter sink the holes and use flush rivets because the inspection plate, held on with M4 screws in the rivnuts, would sit up on the rivet heads otherwise.

I asked Mark on skype but ill also check here.

Did you enlarge the inspection hatch screw holes to 4mm, to get som leave, screws are a bit tight?

How did you mount the Jury strut mount, with rivnuts?

Only ones that were tight were where the rivnut pulled a bit off centre. Jury struts are still in the box yet!

There is one rivet on each wing I was supposed to leave out, another one to drill out, to install those brackets. I the other holes are drilled when the jury strut is installed after the wings are attached I believe.

No rivet gun on the trailing edge, use the solid 3/32" rivets. Looks like you did that anyway.

LOL that would have made a racket. A little video would be good to see how this works in practise.

It was a labour to resize and fit all those pesky rivets.

I just ran a 3/32" drill in the holes in a slow cordless drill, just enough to chew the black primer out of the holes, made them a lot simpler to deal with.
