Yes, they are good value for money, but recognise they are at the lower end of the market and most pilots will eventually get something better. I have two sets, but keep them for passengers these days.

The other thing to consider is earmuff comfort. My DCs have soft undercut gel earmuffs which make them very comfortable, much more so than the standard headsets at my local school. After an hour our so I become grumpy with the standard muffs.

 

I suggest, if you can, try a range of headsets for performance, fit and comfort. make sure you can get spares and preferably a range of muffs as they do get gungy. Nothing worse than arriving after a long trip with ears bent out of shape and tingling.
