Drug And Alcohol Testing

As a bit of a awareness to everybody where ever you are.

 

The sleepy little airstrip at The Oaks got a visit from the CASA Drug and Alcohol tester this week.

 

A painless experience, but a bit of a surprise for all concerned.

 

Historically, we should be due in another 20 years !!!!

I got tested at Bathurst two weeks ago, and they came to Wollongong about two weeks before that (but I missed them by about 15 minutes). So the testing guys are definitely out there!

Have they re written the original stupid wording of the legislation, where they could test for alcohol or drugs but not for both?

I don't understand why so many people are peaved off because they have to get drug tested.

 

You get drug tested while driving your car so I don't see any difference if your a pilot.

 

I have been tested many times at regional and also international airports and I have no problem with it.

 

It doesn't take long and if I havent been smoking weed or snorting coke why should I be so worried?

 

Anyway my 2 cents...

Yeah I dunno either, look at the ridicule Lance Armstrong went through when he was on drugs, and he rode to victory. When I was on drugs, I couldn't even find my farken bike.
