Note: This is not an official notice. General Notes There will be a much higher presence of security personnel. ALWAYS do as they say. Respect them and they will respect you. Say hi, and you might make some new friends :). During APEC, the authorities will have increased powers (in some situations). Please behave otherwise you may have a bad day and spoil it for everybody else. Sheps Mound (Tower Car Park). Cars allowed for spotting. Stay away from the fence. Strict 3m rule! Beach (Old Tower Car Park) The car park will be closed. Please park the other side of the river (there is parking), walk from there. You will have access to the fence (at this point). Stay away from the fence. Strict 3m rule! Eastern Park Ross Smith Drive between Krispy's and the Heliport (Rotorhead/bugsmasher port). DON'T even think about breathing there. If you park, its a fine and tow there and then. No parking along there at all even on the side of the road. Please observe for your own safety and security. Barton Park I have no advice, but suffice to say stay very clean. There will be more patrols. If anybody has anything else to add, please share. This is an information thread only. Any chatting can be done in the Chat Forum. (Please keep any political comments to yourself, this is an opportunity to rise above the rest). Todd can you please advise any Canberra restrictions here. I don't think the workers at Brindabella Business Park would be happy if they closed the brand new multistory (Which is close to the Runway and Taxiway, and over the fenceline :P) and had to get the over priced airliner bus (No ACTION Services) because of APEC.
