Marty_d
How not to lift off in a 701. 2018-01-29-VIDEO-000006521.mp4
Marty_d
Actually it can't be a 701... just noticed the HS/fin braces, bit hard to do that on an all-moving rudder. Also can't be a Sav because of the reduction in root chord, that's more 701. So the next question is... WTF is the plane??

onetrack
.......And as Mohammad firewalled the throttle and desperately hauled the stick back into his stomach, he suddenly realised it wasn't the 100 octane pump, that he'd fuelled up from ..... Kyle Communications
This is from a few years ago...I think its a ruski version of the 701/savannah..it does have a name but cant remember it
onetrack
The Russian copy of the CH-701 is called a Griffon-100M, by Griffon Aero of Russia. But I'm not sure the aircraft in the above clip is a Griffon-100M. It looks like the CH-701 has quite a number of copies, in a number of countries. http://www.zenithair.com/stolch701/7-photo-copies.html
Marty_d
No, the vid you posted of the Griffon clearly shows all-flying rudder and no braces. But yes I believe the design has been copied quite a bit, not sure if the Zenith site still mentions it but it used to have a warning about knock-off designs based on the 701.

onetrack
Didn't anyone notice?? He's guilty of the most basic offence! - He didn't even try to stop, for the bloke on the crosswalk!!
IBob
There's a SA outfit with a lot of SAV and 701 experience, have posted some interesting comparative stuff. And I believe their 701 guy ended up putting Sav stab/elevator on his 701.

Old Koreelah
The nonchalant recovery of that bloke trying to use the pedestrian crossing puts this video in Monty Python territory.
