Guest Tornado
Hi I registered 2/7 ago & read a few items. I'm old eneough to remember B&W tv. This technology is very new to me. I've had my AUF( now RAA) licence since 1999 & accrued > 600 hrs in ragwings. I have not flown for ~3 years now but started re-training 3/52 ago & looking for another plane. I chose my login as somebody else had my name. Tornado is my 4 1/2yo anglo (thats a horse). I bred & trained him. We spend lots of time tramping through bush trails. Yenn
G'day Tornado. You should soon get back into the swing of things and don't feel bad about the b&W TV. I still have one, but have to admit it is a standby. I tried to give it away to the Salvos tears ago and they didn't want it.
Deskpilot
Tornado. great to hear from you. We're pretty similar in that I used to service b & w tv's when i was a young'un. Also used to ride and drive ponies. Unlike you, the horses took a back seat until last month when I decided to take a beach ride in Bali. First time in the saddle for 40 years and loved it. Was a bit stiff the following 2 days but what fun. Didn't fall off, even when making a video at the canter. Next best thing to flying. What are you retraining in?
