Hi all 002_wave.gif.62d5c7a07e46b2ae47f4cd2e61a0c301.gif,

I've just started to look into Rec flying.

I fit the Rec flying profile - male over 50 - always wanted to learn to fly, now I can affored it and have the time. I'm about 2 yrs off retirement and will start intensive pilot training then:laugh:

I live just near Canberra and thinking of learning at Temora on a Technam. I want to do an intro flight soon.

Cheers,

Paul

Hi Paul, welcome to our forums.

It's so good to see "someone in this profile" thinking about what they're going to do with their life BEFORE they retire, rather than when it's too late. Come on in & join the discussions, and get to learn a bit about what your future has in store for you.

Welcome Paul. You will find a lot of similar people to you here. It is never too late to start learning and the only regret most of us have is that they didn't start years ago!

Hi Paul,

Welcome from another "fits the profile", over 50, male, always wanted to learn to fly, wish I'd done it earlier, person 006_laugh.gif.0f7b82c13a0ec29502c5fb56c616f069.gif. Got my certificate in January, plus my PAX, and now doing my cross-country endorsement. Go for it - you will enjoy it immensely.

Cheers
