  1. Do they have night flying at Cowra? Nev
  2. Mona would be more appropriate for a few. Nev
  3. I'd stick to standard as much as possible. Easier to jump from one plane to another then. Nev
  4. What Chemical are they supposed to be spreading? Cloud seeding was done with silver iodide. Suitable clouds at a much lower level. Provides condensation nucleii for the formation of raindrops. Nev
  5. It would appear so. They have over 100 million Pentecostals. A New christian? CULT that glorifies Greed and is structured around justifying the worship of money and blaming the less well off for their OWN circumstances.. Nev
  6. There's an old saying ... "Pilots are like mushrooms. Kept in the dark and fed on Bull$#!t". Nev
  7. Contrails are caused by the burning fuel in the Jet engines forming water. They only form in certain conditions generally at high altitudes. Nev
  8. Most would not employ it. I would agree with that.. In wartime you only got told the minimum and It's gone downhill from there. UNLESS you seek out these things. You should know STALL is an angle of Attack, not a pitch attitude. Nev
  9. I would be disappointed if Instructors are not aware of that.. Nev
  10. Go to their last bit of advice. Get in touch with your instructor. What was demonstrated there was very basic and obvious. Generally discussion on line creates more confusion. IT should be called the unforgiving turn, which they sensibly have. Nev
  11. The caster you want can be designed into either Leading or trailing links . Earles forks are used a Lot on Motorcycle outfits and they are very much Leading link.. The mass is towards the rear of the steering axis. Nev.
  12. Headwind makes a big difference to height/ distance relationship on climb out. Many turn backs result i loss of control. Shallow bank angle reduces the chance of getting back. Don't learn how to do this on U tube.. Nev
