  1. atsb, basi, casa, wern't interested in investigating this accident, the police were left with a need to investigate the accident, and did not have the expertise, so they asked raa.
  2. good news for zenith owners and buyers. it will be interesting to see what NTSB USA thinks of this. there are four quick build kits in stock at Sport Air Services, i hope this news reassures the new builders and these kits get snapped up.

well chaps, Sport Air is contactable on the no. and email that Chris put up. 07 5536 3622 [email protected] we are bringing a kit to Nat Fly 09 I will check with Liezel re the phone no. in the ad, in the magazine. We are located in the AWA flying academy building and hangar at Gold Coast Airport. note, we did move out of the little hangar early last year. safe travels harry. i haven't been here for a while, correction to the above, Sport Air Services is still contactable on the above no, but we do not have anything to do with Zenith, since that part of the business was sold to Alan. Liesel went long ago also and the email address above is no longer, if you still want to contact me, email [email protected]
  4. I also would like to know the answer to this question, when the aircraft is not an ultralight, but is VH registered,. Specifically, what qualifications do the 'RAA Inspectors' have and what former knowledge of the particular aircraft do they have, and what experience is required in this field to be able to give a qualified opinion? I invite replies by pm and would like to discuss this further with those that have authority in this area. pm me with a phone no, or pm me to get my no. safe travels harry.
  5. thanks for the welcome thanks blueshed, airsick and donkey. some of you may have seen my other posts on this forum. for your info, i only joined to be able to access those in the know to prevent email notifications about aircraft crashes being sent to my dead mates wife. seems that he wasn't registered to this site, from the information from those in the know. i don't want any more dead. thank you and safe travels harry. and rather than carry on a silly scrap here, pm me and i will talk to you on the phone
  6. i did ask to check if they are members of this forum, as i do not know that. i agree with factual reporting -let's keep it that way. this isn't the only aviation forum reporting this matter. pm coming at you slarti' safe travels harry
  7. fixing is my go, better for me to pick the pilot and then the aircraft i will let him fly me in. safe travels harry
  8. um, it might be nice for the moderators of this forum to check and see if the deceased, garry sweetnam, and andrew mitchell are members of this forum and remove them from the forum and email updates, as i have contact daily with one of the wives and the barrage of news on this accident isn't helping. his email address is constantly getting emails on this subject. if someone wants to pm me with proof of their credentials, i will pass on the email details - but you better be able to prove yourself, as i do not wish the families to suffer anymore. and perhaps refrain from any more posts here, pm me if you wish, however i also am suffering from this, so keep it simple. safe travels harry
  9. i have just joined, yep i am a lame, and not a pilot. i do have an interest in ga and homebuilt and experimental. some of you will know me. safe travels.
