Gotta agree with you Angie, Greg has been a great help and source of information and encouragement. I have been lucky enough to purchase a Nynja and am now trying to get fine weather to fly off the 25 hours. I am as new as my aircraft at this recreation so to say a person with no aeronautical experience can build a craft as sweet as the Nynja is something!

Thanks, that's encouraging, I think Greg R mentioned your job to me.

Thanks Morgan, it just helps planning time away from work, family etc to get a bit of an idea of the time frame. I do understand and appreciate the effort being put in by a small number of staff at RA-AUS, I'll be happy as when it comes in. Cheers.

G'day Steve, I'll have take up racing again if I have to wait that long! No it won't happen! Have you got something to build now?
-
I am not being critical of RA-AUS, I just would like to get an idea as to what is a normal waiting period presuming I have submitted all the correct and complete documents and photos. If it's 4 weeks or 8 weeks or something else than that's fine I appreciate the office is under equipped and over worked and I'll be just happy to get my Nynja provisionally approved!

Has anyone with a new constructed aircraft had a rego issued and how long did it take from submission to receiving the approval? I have been waiting 4 weeks, is this normal? How much longer should I expect? Anyone?

Hi Dazza, think I'm the same...hard to remember sometimes! I'm getting a bit hopeless at racing motorcycles now so am turning to more "outback adventure" on the DR650 and soon I hope in the Nynja. Do we share a past history? Cheers

Hey Scott, thanks. I am building for RA-Aus rego, and I have already needed to peruse Mark's and your pix to help with understanding, I almost certainly will need to ask heaps.

G'day all, life's good as I completed my first solo yesterday and spent today working on the assembly of my new Skyranger Nynja! I best go back to work tomorrow and earn a few dollars. I rarely write to forums, I'd rather be riding my motorcycle or in the future flying, however I thought I better say hello as I will no doubt need someone's aviation advice in the future. Cheers Vince
