  1. Thanks guys, I had fun making it, bit of a hobby, many family home movies (no I won't be posting them). I also have a website www.outbackbeauty.com and also www.skykroozer.com but that was when I was living in Cambodia.
  2. G/day Ian, How does this compare to the 5"RF one I just brought? I am only getting about an hour from the battery.
  3. When you get the updated GPS I would like to see some screen shots, particularly the screen with all the basic info, font size etc, and could the screen be customised? I was looking at the aera 500 but I will wait for this one at half the price. It would be great though if Oziexplorer maps could be loaded, but understand the idea is to keep the cost down. Great work.
  4. Good to know wasn't aware, now I have an Icom IC A22E is that air and ground use?
  5. Powerchute v Aerochute Hi Frank, Basically they are the same thing AU Aerochute originated from the UK Powerchute. I got into powerchutes because of their simplicity and safety.
  6. Have just been browsing this site, so thought I would join. I first learned to fly the Grumman AA-1 & AA-5 in Perth in the late 70's but then got married and couldn't afford to fly any more (sound familiar) and it was only $28/hr. Renewed my passion for flying in 1992 when I brought a Powerchute and am about to update this to an Aerochute in the next few weeks. I fly around the Meekatharra area in Central WA.
