Hi Don, Was that you flying your red/yellow Thruster with "25" rego 1000ft over our airstrip about 2 weeks ago. Tried calling on Goulburn 127.15 and Multicom 126.7 Eventually departed to the west. To Currandooley? It was gusting to 20 knots. Could land if you know the strip well but still taking a chance. Currandooley would be better if that's where you're still flying from. Cheers, Glen

I took a close look at my Pursuit-10 wheels yesterday. The front wheel is a 4" x 11 and has a steering damper fitted, the rears are 5" x 13 with wheel spats. Compared to the Airborne Edge wheels which are 6" x 15. Trying to post an image here but not sure how well it will work . . . [IMG]

Hi Damo, Just did one circuit before I bought it. It seemed to struggle to climb 500ft/min with my weight in it, but that could have been due an issue with the sail I'm getting fixed and WingTech says it should feel & perform a lot better after that. I've got a couple of spare Edge type wheels. What did you do for forks? I'd feel a lot better about my outlanding chances with a bigger nose wheel . . . Cheers, Glen

Hi Alf, I have heard that an uprated new mast is needed on the XT to use the new strutted wing. No news on its release date to market yet. With the strutted wing being a new product I'd take anything I hear with a pinch of salt as there's likely to be an element of marketing hype involved. Airborne have mentioned that not all of the speed increase is due to reduced drag, some of it is due to not having reflex wires pulling up on the trailing edge of the wing as you go faster. Hi Jason, Yes that was us. I see you have a concrete slab down for your house and was that a sealed driveway to the house site? If the driveway is supposed to double as an airstrip I thought the fence was a bit close on one side. Cheers, Glen
