And I have just sent you a message (this one) which will result in you receiving an email notification telling you this has happened, but you can only respond here, not on your email client. Are you in Alice or in the area? I lived in the Upper Gascoyne in WA for a few years and it's very similar country. Also did a gig with the Bicentenniel Authority in NT in 1988. Kaz

Hi Bruce... sorry for long delay in responding. I confess I never expect anyone to PM me and haven't been looking here. I don't know how you would run Airnav through an EFIS but Dr Paul Boxer at Sentient would help you, I'm sure [email protected] I run mine of my laptop and put it through a 5" TFT which works really well. in fact I love it. The other person you might talk to is Bas who is on this list as he is developing software for iPods and the like http://www.ozrunways.com/site/author/bas/ Hope that is of some assistance kaz

Hello David. Thank you for your kind intro to the group. I paid tops for mine because it really is a very nice aircraft with low hours and has the 0-320 up front. I spent $50k and have spent a little more putting the GPS/moving map stuff in it. You can purchase a very nice Autocrat at the moment for about $42k from memory and average condition J5's with a Gipsy generally go for the mid to high $30k's. Have a look at the AAAA site as there is usually something there. There is also a short wing Piper PA 20/22 at present which will probably bring about the same money as I paid for the J5 D. Make sure you get what ever you might settle on carefully looked over by a rag and tube LAME sich as James Williams at Classic Air in Albury. Good luck kaz
