  1. forget it. I replied with a problem on 23 Feb, I said I would have 4. Looks like the order was made prior to that. No longer interested. I enjoy the site but not sure of the ordering issues, and I know we are all volunteers and we are doing it out of the goodness of our hearts etc etc. but I believe I responded in a timely manneir. Should you wish to dispute that, I am all ears and I don't take offence to being told I'am wrong. You know, I wonder how the other that have just joined this site feel. No togetherness there, sorry it was a one off!!!! Cheers
  2. I will have 4. Do we have a cost as yet? Do I pm my postal address or how does that side of the order work?
  3. Country Kid It certainly will. Enjoy
  4. Dont seem to be able to progress past the number I want!! Any advice and/or assistance welcome
  5. That is sensational. Wow it makes you sit and think the next time you whinge about something. Good read

    Evans VP1

The name Alan Sheard comes to mind. They certainly fly out of bungendore and one of the group has an Evans VP1. Now that I have typed it - oooooomaybe its not. The one I am thinking of is low wing and I think braced back to the fus. I might have the wrong plane. I know Alan, (dont have any contact numbers for him but could get). He would certainly let you know if I am on the right track.
  7. While the onus was on the pilot in the old days, I don't think the onus has changed. You have to be certain that there is no one around that may be hurt by the cranking of the engine. Whether that is by yelling (that no one can hear) or by astitue observation of the people around so be it

    Evans VP1

I had a feeling there was one flying out of Bungendore. One of the Act chappieys. Not sure however
  9. Welcome Flying Biker. This site is better than a Harly!!
  10. Welcome Roslyn. You will have a ball on this site. Having a go is what it is all about. Enjoy
  11. Tomo Where is cecil plains. I looked at your google map/sat view, didn't help much for someone that doesn't know the area. I may fly up your way during the year and would like to drop in on some of the QLDers. My partner is in Brisbane and I am in Albion Park so most of the travel is by the aerial people movers. Cheers Ian
  12. Hi Rod Thanks for the info. but a Southern NSWelshman was wondering where Cooloola Cove was close to. I have a Jab 470 and may be in the QLD area this coming year at some stage. Would love to drop into some of these places but need a perspective from major town/villages etc. Cheers Ian
  13. trycycle vs taildragger Hi I owned a Rans s7 and sold it to buy a jabiru. It goes faster!, but you know, I should have kept the Rans. It cruised along at about 85k, could carry heaps of weight at full fuel and could land anywhere. Sometimes I think we are too quick to chase dream of every thing has to be bigger and faster. I have an sp470 and am after a 230. Maybe I haven't learnt my lesson! Cheers
