  1. Night VFR is great for doing say Brisbane-Gold Coast where there are lots of lights. Or if there is a full moon it can be just like the day time. However, on a dark night away from the cities it is dangerous, but so is IFR. The equipment in the aeroplane has a big influence on safety. As for single engine at night, would only bother me if I was in something hot like a Lancair. Single, multi, NVFR or IFR at night, it can still be dangerous. It's definitely a good idea Tomo, you just have to set your own limits.
  2. To quote Burt Munro in The World's Fastest Indian "You live more in five minutes on a bike like this going flat out than some people live in a lifetime" I reckon the same would apply to that aeroplane. I wouldn't hesitate at all, as long as the engines were good and it was built okay. Yes, same situation as low level aerobatics. But I'm sure it would make me feel better.
  3. I've been trying to find on the net if it's actually flown, but can't seem to find anything about it. I think it's kind of sexy, and with a helmet and parachute I'd give it a go. Whatever happens you will make the news. The Nemesis NXTs look scarier than that thing
  4. Hey Dave, Yeah I've just been lurking in the background lately. Just like Mario says. First thing you notice is lack of stick forces
  5. Nice pics Spin. That It's actually a Decathlon painted up as a Stinson. I remember Coolangatta tower asking me to confirm my type once as they were arguing in the tower
  6. Great pic Tomo. Especially with the Air Tractor in the background
  7. Hey Monty. Is that Winton in Qld? I have a mate who has a bantam between Winton and Longreach
