  1. Thanks for the Welcome Thank you to those who replied to my post. You might be interested to know the yellow Foxbat is back in the air after 3 of us spent most of Tuesday replacing the windscreen. Not a difficult job but quite fiddly, lots of rivets to be carefully drilled out and just as carefully replaced. Cost around $500 for us, (we have a tame LAME/Level 2) don't know what a professional would charge. Incidentally, the old windscreen doesn't appear to be of the best quality plastic - 18 months old and already showing UV (?) discolouration as well as the cracking. Regards, Bob
  2. Met a bunch of great people at the Camden Haven Fly-In (I was the bloke in the orange vest that waved at Everyone! I fly the Hastings District Flying Club's Foxbat and C172 out of Port Macquarie when I can afford it and I am (slowly) building a Zenith 601 HDS which, when finished, you will see everywhere. I am a retired Air Force and Civil Flight Engineer and I am involved with the Australian Air Force Cadets here in Port. Look forward to chatting to and meeting like-minded individuals. Regards, Bob
