  2. About 86 hours on my 3300. So far all good almost no oil use still some sorting to do with CHT . 21-22 litres an hour@2850 rpm happy as . David

    Very happy with mine so far ,but have only done 40 hours slightly more power oil temp down ,pressure up oil use virtually nil

  11. Fitted mine about 5 weeks ago it's serial number 0020 in the new engines but I don't know how many upgraded Jab engines are getting around

  13. Hello Ian Little girls have a habit of making old dads smile my little girl (now 23 )and I spent the weekend fishing caught nothing much but we both loved it ,she was never supposed to live beyond 6 I think I am the luckiest Dad ever David

  15. I have 700 meters at 600 feet above sea level and regularly get off the ground in 300 meters but will admit that I have gone around quite a few times due to not being happy with my approach but I don't have anywhere near 400 landings ,have had a 172/150 in and out with no problems

  17. Spoke to R A Aus on Wednesday and it appears that an online exam is not sufficient in CASAs eyes and a practical component may be needed as well so the link has been removed from the website

  19. I have a strip near Westwood about 40 ks along the Capricorn highway about 650 meters grass if that helps
  20. Another book that I found very interesting is called Wings on my sleeves by Captain Eric Brown it describes his career as a test pilot for the RAF in the closing stages of WW2 he flew a lot of the captured aircraft
