Agreed, the Chinese have built whole new cities on ideological grounds, and no-one lives in them.

Not true, but I give up, believe what you want to, I mean there's 50 million videos and articles telling you that's the way it is, I only live here.

    worlds biggest polluter to.

Gee you're really into the 'China myth throw away comments' aren't you.

    Pollution is caused by consumption.

Manufacturing, regardless of where, is a by product of that consumption, and not the root cause.

America is by far the largest consumers in the world, i.e. the people most responsible for pollution, consumption at a rate far greater than China.

Australia is also well up on the list of consumption per capita too.

What's next Mate? China buying everything up? Australian Government doesn't think so ..

Xinjiang Ughyrs maybe? Be there again in a few weeks, 4th time, awesome place, and I don't mean the tourist capital, we go rural, last time was contracts for some Han Chinese to lease a few thousand acres from some Ughyrs to grow sunflowers, we even made it to the China/Russia/Kazakhstan/Mongolia border intersection for a look.  Hope to get to the China/Russia/Nth Korea border intersection this or next year, and

into Nth Korea as well, can't wait to be shot, I hear it's fun, but hard on your shirts.

By the way, speaking of EVs, I have owned 5 EVs in the last 8 years, have 3 at the moment, 2016 Tesla S, 2018 Geeley Emgrand EV, and our recent addition, 2022 Skywell ET5, and over 400,000 kms in them and had some shares in a (Chinese) EV dealership here, but hey, you guys watch one video and go right ahead and position yourselves as experts on the matter of China EV market ....

Oh and I pay 0.04 to 0.05 cents per KWh, my factory I pay 0.03 to 0.04 cents, Australia is what, 0.35 and 0.45 (oh great way to encourage manufacturing, way to go AusGov).

You're reminding me why I don't bother much with forums anymore, i.e. the ignorant xenophobes.

This guy makes his money off xenophobic hate of China, and this is utter lies, as is his usual bollshot videos. I complain every video to Youtube, but they do nothing if they are getting the views.

Neta, the so called "cars rotting in fields", are highly successful sellers, and not only increasing in sales, but gaining ground in exports as well.

Seriously, is the electricity, gas, water, housing, rent, food etc so affordable in Australia you need to concentrate on other countries ....

"Neta is targeting sales of 300,000 units in 2023, local media China Securities Journal reported on February 7. The EV maker has sales of 152,073 units in 2022, up 118 percent year-on-year, including 3,456 units delivered overseas, according to data it previously announced".

  4. The builder of the Foxcon Terrier 100 wings and I were in contact, but many years have passed as well as a few whiskeys, and I can't remember who it was, sorry.

Could someone point me in the right direction, or could the culprit please PM me?

Basically I want to know what airfoil it is, I plotted it but can't find an exact match, and also send you the CAD file of the wing that I am doing now (hence why i want to know what airfoil it is).

The skin had some handling damage requiring a patch, so while the skin was off I thought I would get it all into CAD

The anti China rhetoric gets right up my nose. I've seen articles lately saying how China wants to start a war. Why do that?

There is cheap Chinese crap but plenty of high quality stuff as well. It just costs more.

There may be an authoritarian government

The US military machine needs enemies to justify it's $700 billion defense budget every year, it's making so many people wealthy, would would they not do it, sadly Australia seems to be getting onto this bandwagon.

There are military equipment made all around the World by Australia's Allies, but guess where everything is coming from .. the USA. And now will include long range missiles for the first time ever, to combat "the China threat". Why can't people see that all the nonsense is to make people very rich, nothing to do with threats.

"cheap Chinese crap" is what people buy, they create the market, not China. Supercheap, Target, etc isn't owned by Chinese .

What Authoritarian Government? People seem very confused about this, I find there is way more oppressive laws in Australia than China.

It's frustrating, here I am in a completely normal society, surrounded by reasonably well off, healthy, very happy people, just going about their business everyday like most places on the planet, and I read this hatefest about the place everyday on social media, that just isn't true..

Could be an unintended consequence of Morrison's trade war.

There's what, 4 posts asking after me in a year? I seem to be as popular as a man at a Feminist Convention wearing a strap on dildo.

But I am highly unimpressed with mostly Murdoch's lies and the anti-China hatefest it has created with Australians recently, add to that some of the complete lies the Government has thrown out there, but I did discover that anyway 16 years ago when I first landed here ... it's a very sad and distressing moment when you realise your own Government lies to you.

My Dad is 85 now, he was tainted with the "Commy" nonsense (relative to modern times, and yeah, it was bad decades ago), now he can't wait for his trips over here. he also shakes his head when he sees the China nonsense, actually traveling to a Country and seeing for yourself is the only answer, Scott Morrison ought to try it ..... wouldn't suit his narrative though.

Has anyone heard from bex. Did he leave us because of the taildragger comment.  I hope he has not been subject to an unreasonable tariff.

I've been called everything under the sun Mate, so some comment about a taildragger isn't going to bother me.

Simple fact is I gave up trying to recover from my open heart surgery, 6 months they said, every time I tried getting back up to working speed, I would have to spend longer recovering, what a struggle, and depressing, now over 2 years and I'm only just getting back to true full strength, and now just started spending 3 or 4 days a week comfortably in the factory again with just a day or 2 rest inbetween.

I used to do around 6 to 700 accumulative pushups through the day, now I do 30 and my sternum hurts like **** where they cut me in half if I do more. But I'll get there .... and so will a plane, I have a couple of offers and money on he table for the project when I'm ready.

One Englishman, a Welshman, A Hungarian, A Polish man, and a WHITE Pakistan man.

... I'm still waiting for the joke ....

"Vud, Vud, Vud" did you expect to hear Bex?

A plane has lost 3 engines and is going down, the Captain comes on the PA and announces they have jettisoned all the luggage and fuel they can, but still overweight and going down, they need 5 volunteers to sacrifice themselves to save all on board.

Immediately the Englishmen gets up and says: Had a good life, time to do the right thing, remember me old Chaps, cheerio ... and jumps out the plane.

The Welshman gets up and says: ... well no one could actually understand him .... and jumps out the plane.

The Hungarian gets up and says: Once we were the greatest, the Empire of Europe ... and jumps out the plane.

The Pakistani gets up and says: Allah will forgive me for saving others and let me into his kingdom, cries "Allahu Akbar!" ... and jumps out the plane.

The Polish man gets up and says: Remember World War 2 .... and throws out a German.

  9. As a guide, the ATO provides a report for 2016-2017 stating average income for male lawyers is $143, 206 and for females is $106,475.

My Wife walks all over her Male Lawyer counterparts for earnings, she applies herself and works damn hard.

She happens to own the Law Firm as well, that helps, but there's an equal amount of male and female Lawyers in the firm, not planned that way, but that's the way it is. They all have the same rates and commissions offered to them, the males earn more because they work harder and longer hours, more willing to travel, while the female Lawyers go home to their children and other social activities more often. Just facts.

Julia Gillard was the youngest Partner ever in the Law Firm she worked at, and she went on to become Prime Minister, maybe she just applied herself and worked harder/smarter. She has no children by the way, I believe that is a factor.

  10. I would take most Family LawCourt DV claims with a grain of salt.

From first hand personal experience, absolutely agree with this.

From second hand experience living 15 years in a lower social economic area, i.e. Logan City, and seeing what was bestowed on other males, I absolutely agree with this.

Don't get me wrong, male induced violence certainly higher than female induced, but nothing as high as "95%". Face facts, a woman punches a man, not much is said or done, a man punches a woman and it becomes one of the 95%.

  11. Guys I have posted this before somewhere, I self cured all my prostate problems in my early 40s purely by accident, self medicating for a non-associated reason, it works for a number of people I have shared it with.

Vitamin Bs in a specific blend.

    100 mgs each of VB1, VB2, VB6

    200 mgs (i.e. double) VB12.

Take it daily, not late in the afternoon or evening because it is also quite an energy kick and you won't sleep.

Or take it just as you're going to sleep. 1 to 3 months you will notice a big difference.

What have you got to lose, VB won't hurt you, and you will get that energy kick.

  12. one thing i know from wrecking engines intentionally, if you are ever in a demolition derby, used to be populat on Speedway nights, have a rope tied to one of your pre loosened radiator hoses.

A main goal in the derbies is to wreck your competitors radiator causing them to overheat and die. If you get hit and lose all your water, pull the hose off with the rope so you will pump cool air instead, your engine will last longer.

    I should write a book ....

  13. desire a tail-dragger, .

My 2nd daughter used to drag her tail around for damn near 2 years, but eventually she learned to walk like a normal person.

I have no intention of going backwards in design to pacify some old gits who think radials spitting hot oil into their leather goggles while they're out on the wing adjusting the fuel mixture mid-flight romanticizing about the time they fought off 6 machine gun wielding Germans armed only with a pen-knife and a toothbrush is how flying should be.

Apart from being a bit unsightly,

I'm not trying to be obtuse when I say I flat out don't care.

I'm trying to make a cheap, functional aircraft, not win a beauty contest.

Now, back to kicking my dog ....
