  1. Have Nulon red at 50 50 mix no issues at all but I have found if you have the wrong mix your temps can go up ( more coolant than water). I have a fitting with ball valve on top of head and open up when running and hot to get any air out...then refit bung again after when cool. If you find it's still getting hot run a more water mix than coolant and if temps drop your onto a winner......cheers Ducks
  2. Very true ...if you build it they will come.....
  3. The Roebourne shire have just added the same facility to our airfield but me thinks it's to service the Criminal transport planes that bring in the new inmates for Roebourne prison. Otherwise can't see it getting too much use. Interesting video Turbs I also clicked onto the you tube link after watching it on a short film called "get to know the bird".....American of course but they put flying across so well I couldn't help but feeling part of it....thought it was well done. Cheers
  4. Doesn't matter where you go if there's money in it or if there's no money in it the people will sell it off or legislate against it for their own good. I have seen my own mining company I work for close off our airstrip so they could expand their lease and deny it to those of us that could still benefit from its use only to waste the space by storing mining equipment on it. I'm lucky that my new air strip is now Roebourne which luckily for me has had a bit of an upgrade to its surface and new markers installed....cheers

  10. Just posted to say hi from the Pilbara in Western Australia. Just about to buy my first trike and take up flying again. Had plenty of stick time in a Venture ultralight years ago but always had a hankering for a trike after an ole mate Rick Thomas got me interested in Trikes. 3 axis was good but Trikes will be even better....
