In the POH there are only 2 figures: a take off distance , and a landing distance in ISA . But no P-Chart. Can you direct me to where you found the chart? Is it in earlier models POH... Iv got a 2008 Jabiru 170-C

I transferred from GA to LSA 4 years ago. Never had an engine failure in a GA aircraft . But 2 years into flying the LSAs , doing circuits in a J230 the engine failed , my first one ever ... Yep you guessed it .. The through bolts failed . Hmmmm . But I still went and bought one for myself . Having said that , I do a lot more praying before each flight these days lol

Hahaha well I did get some grace from the jabiru factory, when I called them which was .. don't take a jabiru into an airstrip that's shorter than 600m. And ,when I asked them about calculating TODR and LDR, he said to add 130m for each 1000 ft DA change from ISA to the figures in POH . Not very definitive , but it sure beats the other figures in the POH which is .. " nothing '!!! "

90 kts , that's impressive at that fuel burn rate , I didn't think they would cruise at that speed comfortably !

Following this thread is quite amusing , I couldn't help but remember on one of the Simpsons episodes , when Ralph ( one of the school student characters on the show ), was told he was failing English , to which his reply was, " me fail English , that's umpossible " :-) lol

It's quite pathetic that Jabiru has been operating for 25 years , and yet no one has bothered to do a P-Chart calculation for the POH
