  1. I received this Email today Very disturbing if true! "I am writing to express my deep concern with the decision to refuse/defer Ian Baker’s (“IB”) RA-Aus membership application. This decision, which appears to have been initiated by Steve Runciman (“SR”) and Steve Tizzard (“ST”) acting in concert, is both repugnant and immature and appears to be a clumsy attempt to punish free speech. Further, it is poor and unusual behaviour which itself brings RA-Aus into disrepute and the supporters and perpetrators of this behaviour should offer their resignations. Given that RA-Aus is the only body through which IB can fly recreational aircraft of the type he prefers, it is misguided to think that the delegated authority from CASA allows the RA-Aus Board and CEO to prevent someone from flying because they directed criticism at the organisation and/or its administration. I know I can write letters of complaint about CASA and its administration without fear of my GA licence being revoked. I urge you to act immediately and encourage your fellow Board members to overturn this decision by circular resolution and grant IB membership. Should IB’s membership not be granted by COB 30 August 2012, I will lodge a formal complaint with CASA which will not only describe this clearly unconscionable conduct but will urge their intervention to conduct a formal review of RA-Aus administration, Board structure, Constitution and By-laws to ensure RA-Aus acts within the spirit of its delegated authority. Note that I am not representing or acting for IB but am taking steps to ensure that this sort of grave injustice never happens again. Also note that there are other avenues to pursue to correct this injustice which will be done in parallel with the CASA complaint and, as you are aware, my background equips me with the skills needed to ensure a just outcome. Regards"
  2. Now this is a Tail-Dragger EuroFox K2!
  3. The main problem is that the seat harness are all designed for a Max of 110Kg if you exceed this you may be open to litigation if someone gets hurt regardless that you are inside the Max AUW limitations!
  4. Here is a Eurofox towing a Blanik
  5. The other thing I found was Horsham Aviation the agents, have bent over backwards helping me set the aircraft up for towing operations, I also have the 100 hrly done there and nothing is a problem to them Eddie
  6. Hi Dassa, The EuroFox Taildragger has a fiberglass roving tail spring almost impossible to break. I have fitted larger Main wheels to facilitate opps off a very hard dry and rough runway! The airframe is the refinement of the Kitfox and Skyfox taken to a higher level, just recently folded the wings for experience it was a breeze about 15 minutes taking care. Take a look at the American website for the wing folding details Aerotrek A220 - A240 folding wings I am 150% happy with the package, and all experienced pilots who fly it make the same comment "What a delightful aircraft" It has wonderful stoll performance and a excellent cruise well balanced, great visibility, and on the airframe maintainance side easy to work and inspect on. I have had no problems with the airframe. A Sprag clutch replaced in engine (But that is a Rotax issue) regards Eddie
  7. EUROFOX Glider Tug at SportAviation Tocumwal You can see the EuroFOX towing a Blanik L-13 2 up. We have been using it as a towplane for the last 6 months and the results have been impressive I use Shell V power 98 RON. Rotax 912 ULS Kasper inflight adjustable prop, It cruises at 95kn as I have large wheels fitted for rough terrain opps
  8. EUROFOX Glider Tug at SportAviation Tocumwal English Watch Now!
  9. Good news Middo, The landslide indicates what most of us have been thinking for a while! Eddie
  10. I purchased a EuroFox in Dec 08 and use it for a glider tug and training and I am extremely happy with the package.
  11. Thanks We are in the process of replacing all of the O rings on the valve tubes, the tubes have been inspected and cleaned the drilles holes in cylinder head are clear The other thing is that oil might be escapeing or been blown out the holes? We will do a test flight later today to see if the frproblen is fixed
  12. We have had in intermittent oil leak from the Valve guide on a J160c Hydraulic valve. Sometimes it will lose 150ml per hour and other times almost nothing! The "O" rings have been replaced on various cylinders but the problem persists. Does anyone have a solution to the problem?
