At this incredibly difficult time your support and condolences have been deeply appreciated and on behalf of John's family, friends and greater flying community including Caboolture Microlights that John, Mark Gentry and Neil Schaefer fostered over the last 10 + years I wish to thank you NOTICE Dearly loved Husband of Julie. Loved Brother and Brother-in-law of Julie and Pete, David and Gary. Loved Son of Jeffrey (dec’d) and Margaret, and Uncle to Matt, Nat and Ed.Family and Friends of John are invited to attend his Funeral Service, to be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, 10th December, 2016, in the George Hartnett Chapel, 42 Gaza Road, Holland Park. Upon conclusion of the service, family and friends and fellow club members are invited to attend a Celebration of John’s life at the Caboolture Aero Club new clubhouse facility.
  2. Thanks everyone for your messages about Crezzie, it is clear that he had huge respect from everyone even those who didn't know him all that well, it goes to show the flying community is tight and it effects all of us when we lose one of our own. This is a very tough time for us who knew him well, it's still a shock that it could happen to someone with his experience and high standards of safety that he demanded all the time. He will be greatly missed! Fly safe fellow aviators, thanks again!
  3. Yes, Crezzie was highly experienced, and my original instructor from day one 2009. Safety was paramount and as one of his students, he installed in me a high level of safety awareness. Knowing him personally, it has hit home to me that if it can happen to someone like John, it can happen to anyone. Please take care up there everyone, and RIP John Cresswell.
