  1. :yikes:Heard about it on the news about the severe thunderstorm warning, but to actually see the damage
  2. I heard it was down to one male toilet at some stage...... Given there would have been more men camping than females, I actually expected to see a higher ratio of male toilets to female..... I still couldn't help but be surprised when I knocked on the female toilet doors to check if anyone was in there to find male voices!! The organisation of the campsites could have been better. The people we asked had no idea at all! I was impressed that everyone organised themselves and we didn't find ourselves feel crowded at all. Airshow was fantastic - really enjoyed myself :) The fans were a godsend for Friday!!!!
  3. Yep, I'll be attending. Driving on Friday morning. Looking forward to it :)
  4. I've actually gotten used to them. I suppose it helps that I can't hear them when I'm up in the air, and I don't live near any!! Maybe more fun for some
  5. This is from the on Saturday morning. Bumpiest flight to date - not sure if it had anything to do with the fact I wasn't feeling 100% on the day (been recovering from the flu). Love being a passenger though Sooley Dam Woodlawn Mine Lake George
  6. Got to go flying again on Saturday Destination this time was Tumut - had a little 'picnic' (packed some bread, dip, antipasto goodies). Gorgeous day to have been out and about
  7. Day trip to Moruya yesterday (my very first time). Flew along the coastline to Narooma before turning back, and headed home. Weather was just beautiful - will have to hint to my pilot to go back again :)
  8. Found a copy online, and just finished watching it. Thoroughly enjoyed it - thanks for sharing :)

  10. I like to think it's better later than never. I got to go flying last Sunday . I didn't sleep very well the night before - I reckon it was the thought of going flying again, and the chance to see snow so close to home that kept walking me up! (I even forgot to have breakfast ) The day didn't turn out as originally planned (can be difficult figuring out Mother Nature's mood). I still had an awesome time though - we did a local flight over Crookwell, Gunning, Lake George, Lake Bathurst......saw lots of snow, clouds, wind farms, gliders........ Some photos attached
