    Can't keep Paws'n'Claws waiting. I clip my own, style cut usually.

    Reg told me to get some more nylon and lathe up a couple more with a step in the top to take the PTT, but the button hole in the grip is not in the centre of the tube so it will be a bit more complex, job for the 4 jaw chuck I guess.

    Guy, What did you mount your press-to-talk button in? I made a pair of nylon plugs in the lathe but the guru said they are too flat and the button will be too deep in the grip to reach so just before I cut the top off the grip.... Well I will consider other options.

    Much better than taking them off during the landing.

    Flying up through Queensland there is often a high tension powerline right up the middle of all the suitable clearings in the tiger country. Fact is there is usually quite a wide clearing but the track if there is one, is often in close to the towers. It would still get consideration in a pinch.

    Surely you could still slip in under the wires and land between the poles though.

    Very lucky the clearing didn't have a fence right up the guts of it.

    Did this Savannah have slats or had they been removed?

    Rob have you sealed the lightening holes in front of your rudder and under the stabiliser to stop them getting into your fuselage too

    Always easy to confuse your wants and your needs. The challenge is often convincing your spouse that you need your wants.

    Now that is a weep hole! Don't want any water pooling inside the wing to freeze. Trouble is it is also an uninhibited access for a mud wasp.

    Have you tried a different phone carrier? Sounds like you have a lot of business getting away on you. You must be paying for telephone service you are not getting, but that is nothing new in this great country.

    Just trying to work out how to get my Trimble Easysteer to work on my joystick. It would be a lot easier if it had a steering wheel!

    Excellent site! I just put the old NSW rego number of my daughter's car registered to me, this site brought it up under it's current QLD rego under her name.
