How many forum posters does it take to change a light bulb?
Darracq replied to Admin's topic in Site Announcements
Mr Admin, You forgot the one who changes the subject matter completely and steers the thread in a totally different direction. BTW, did you know the the GAF Jindivik target towing drone had an Edison screwed flash bulb mounted on its launching trolley? When it went off it told the controllers the craft was airborne. I do wonder if the Jindivik still holds the record as Australia’s most produced home grown airframe? Maybe Jabiru’s taken that title by now? -

Hi When the RAeCNSW folded many of the items were given to the clubs historian. He donated all the records and related to the state library before he died. You may ant to look there. The rest of his collection which centered on the clubs history were passed to his son who put some of the items up on eBay. I have tried to buy as much as I could afford just to keep it togeather. To me this is an important representation of Australia's golden age of aviation. Cheers, Stephen. -
Not sure if it will help but I just brought a tranceiver and it came with a ferrite core to wrap the 12v cigarette lighter charger cable around. Meant to stop interference.
