  1. Yeh pretty sure you can, As far as I know its open to the public. People were asking if ok for caravans and were told no worries,
  2. It was a great send off for Dave, The boys did him proud with a formation Fly-By & took several of Dave's family members for rides in the Stearman & Moth. The L-39 was impressive. Dave will be sadly missed. We have lost a Great Pilot/Teacher & a mate. RIP Dave.
  3. We are considering a trip to Oshkosh maybe this year but more than likely next, Have been looking at RV hire sites (RV Share)with many offering delivery to site, Anyone have any experience with this & is this allowed at Oshkosh?

  6. Loving this thing, 15hrs up staying close to home patch(Boonah) to get comfortable with it, Hasn't skipped a beat now time to start branching out to distant places.
  7. Thinking on buying a leakdown tester and compression tester so can do own servicing, What capacity/ minimum PSI compressor is needed?. Also the Savannah manual says the compression(Differential pressure gauge) should be checked at the 25hrs service, Read somewhere it was every 200hrs? Previous owner had Annual done at 571hrs then leakdown done at 592hrs for condition report (1) 76/80 (2) 74/80 (3) 78/80 (4) 76/80 Aircraft currently at 621hrs. Cheers

Well after waiting months for the weather to improve between SA & QLD the new toy is now in my possesion, Couple more flights with local Instructor then the adventure of Aircraft ownership begins. Its a 2010 Savannah XL 912 ULS, Very well built and well maintained. Last owner really looked after it. Cheers.

  17. Glad their both ok, I was at the Boonah Fly-in as well but cant recall a yellow Tigermoth there, Looked through all my photos but didn't see one. There was a silver one with yellow stripes.

  21. Had a 40 minute flight with the wife from Boonah checking out Lake Moogerah, Slightly bumpy day but beautiful place to fly. It was the first time since 1986 the Wife and I had flown together, Slightly nervous but said she enjoyed it. Ran into Danny_galaga for brief chat so good day allround. Cheers
