G'day ClintonB, If you double tap the home button you should get a list of recent applications. Then swipe up on the application (the OzRunways "window") and it should close the application and clear it from memory. This will stop it from requesting precise location from the device and draining your battery. However if you're in the middle of planning a nav this may clear any unsaved data though. Cheers

All survive dropping in for dinner (USA)

Looks like most of the starboard wing was still well attached, although according to the Southside Sentinel, "...the plane hit the tops of two tall trees, clipping off portions of the wings..." They had apparently conducted an intersection departure from the field, using only 1200ft out of 2200 total. Apparently that isn't enough with pilot + 2 pax and a recent refueling. Disaster averted; only minor injuries result from plane crash at Hummel -
From their website, they list a GM LS3 6.2L V8 with 300hp as an option. (Titan Aircraft - T-51D Mustang) They also only list the Honda V6 as 245hp. It's pretty, and I want one!

The description on the Youtube video notes that: "... - We do not use the weak link. ..." Hopefully the pilot would have been able to actuate the release and have the release work if there had been contact. The description also states "The pilot of the aircraft never perceived the event."
