Vans RV-12 wanted

Looking for an RV-12 in good-used or near-new condition. Considerations: Ideally with a Rotax 912, but would consider other engines; Either EFIS or gauges is fine; ADs must be up-to-date (or in the course of being updated); Current location of aircraft can be anywhere in Aus (distance for the right aircraft isn't an issue). (I'm in NSW, about an hour north of Sydney) Landing my NZ RV-12 at NZTG; should have brought it with me...!
2. I've worn glasses & contacts for the last 50 years (I'm 62) and since turning about 50 I've needed reading glasses with my contacts so I usually wore glass with reading modification built in. I often fly wear contacts and the wrap around sunnies I wear are from engineering supply stores and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. They come in a range of reading magnification with a very specific reading lense shaped in the lower part of the lens. Keep trying different types on until you find a pair that have the bows tight to the sides of your face, then order about three pair ($15/pair) SO much better than wearing glasses with clip on sunnies as you lose the wrap-around effect. If it's cloud I put on the half-lense reading glasses. I keep one pair (why do they call them a pair when you actually have just on item???) permanently in the plane and another permanently in my car.
3. New Zealand shut down all non-essential flying a the end of day on 25th (VFR or IFR). NO recreational flying until we get out of the virus mess. We started home-isolation at the end of the 25th as well: No boating, hiking/tramping/hunting in wilderness/forest parks, etc. The simple reason is they don't want to risk having to deploy scarce resources to any sort of rescue or recovery operation. It makes sense and seems to be accepted by the vast majority of people.
4. Looking forward to your videos. I'm in NZ but plan to fly my RV over in a year or two or three and have a big, long look around.
5. Can anyone give me feedback on the Cobra Arrow?  I've searched the web and this site but haven't managed to find any real feedback from an owner's perspective.  If you have a Cobra Arrow or have owned one in the past I'd love to hear from you! I'm looking to purchase my first aircraft and the specs on the Arrow look pretty impressive. The certification tests for the Arrow, with the Subaru EA81, show it is capable for far more than certification. Oophda
6. G'day One and All I'm a new hatch without feathers or any other means of flight other than buying a ticket BUT I'm damn determined to fly and to buy an recreational class 2 aircraft I can fly without the full PPL license to travel, play and sight-see in. I'm in NZ (spare me the sheep jokes), semi-retired at 58 and finally looking indulge in a long held desire to fly. I ended up on this website while searching for a 2nd hand Savannah and your forum came up in my search. I haven't come across any for sale but I noted "JG3" commenting that he might be aware of a few for sale so I'll try to make contact with him once I've explored the site a bit more. Oophda
