55% scale Stearman with Valach 800cc 7 cyl radial [Filmed in UltraHD/4K]

Ludo and his family travelled from his home in Belgium to the Wings & Wheels Model Spectacular to demonstrate his giant scale models. This Stearman is powered by a Valach 800cc 7 cylinder radial engine. Awesome sound.

It's definately better in the one thread. That way those interested can mark the thread for new posts and get notifications. Those not interested don't have it coming up in the general "feed" all the time. Keeps everyone happy.....

Interesting motor, 8000+ Euros and 45hp. I wonder what a 1600cc version would cost? It could make a handy ultralight motor that sounds good to boot!

I don't get it. Just use a C150 with the appropriate mechatronics and be done with it.

And, if you can't hand crank a prop so you won't headbut it and die, don't hand crank a prop. You know, if you shift your C of G towards the prop you are starting, you have issues.
