Blueadventures
Hi Smokey This is what I made up so I could check the ailerons. You need two.

Cheers Have the straight edge timber or even alloy and attach the end piece and cut a rough curved shape then fit under wing a little off and hold a marker a distance behind the aileron and move it go through full deflection travel of aileron and cut out the line and that's it. I used shock cord over the top of wing to hold it on.

facthunter
You only need to locate at the leading and trailing edges Can't you use levels a or a laser ? Once you test fly it you will probably adjust it a bit anyhow. Nev
