Guest ozzie Posted January 12, 2010 Share Posted January 12, 2010 Australia's oldest skydiving club,'The Newcastle Sport Parachuting Club' located at Elderslie in the Hunter Valley will be celebrating it's 50th year of operations from Wednesday April 21st to Monday 26th 2010. Current members warmly extend an invitation to all ex members, jump pilots (spud included) wives, hubbies, friends and Whuffos to help celebrate this great occasion. Fun and competition jumps from Wednesday to Monday. Friday night will be a black tie affair to be held at Crown Plaza Pokolbin which is now on the former site of the clubs Cessnock DZ. https://skydivenewcastle.com/bookings HUGE to be it will. The weekend will see a few record attempts, displays of yester year, formating turbine aircraft to put 50 canopies in the air. ALL welcome.
