Impressive ! How much long is this track ?

This was done many years ago. The strip is only around 150 mtrs long. It is Bill Grieve landing at Bruce Bradlys place not too far from me. Its a good video to show how good the Savannah is and also some fantastic piloting skills. Bill has something like over 2000 hrs in Savannahs. The strip is not for the faint hearted. Bills house also has a strip. its even shorter but better approaches

 

This is me filming but Bill flying of course. Landing at his place after a training flight when I was learning. I still would not be confident enough to land there ...yet

150m thats short!

 

Bills place is only about 120 mtrs and his cross strip is only about 80 mtrs but that is used when we get strong westerly winds

 

I wouldn't fly my toy planes off strips that short!

 

Even the animals were terrified! The birds were saying something very rude on the first landing, and the horses at takeoff just cleared off!

That was great, very amusing indeed, the V speeds are wrong but hey who needs 'em !L0(
