Russ Posted August 17, 2011 Share Posted August 17, 2011 Most rec flyers ( in my view ).......do there sunday thing in their much loved flying machine , never ever having issues. Many will venture x country to another aerodrome/strip/whatever, visiting etc etc..........apon reaching aero/strip, one sees lots of activity, hears lots of transmittions ( if he has a radio ) but undawnted he joins circuit and lands. After parking, chap approaches and admonishes him for entering into the area as a "notam" was current for that particular day/time. My question is...............how does "sunday flyer" get updates/info regarding his anticipated route next planned x country. Just last weekend, mate got caughtup in just this scinareo, airshow was active at a country airstrip, he came in from miles away ( station ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
