Crash landed C130

What can you do with a C130 when you crash land short of the runway in Iraq when the C130 is not repairable.

jpg 6 and 7 indicates that the wheels are form the front landing gear (nosewheel / NLG). They are actually from the main landing gear (MLG). The NLG has two wheels side by side, these clearly are a single wheel setup.

Not too sure about that, looks to me to be the NLG pix 6&7 are the nose gear, one wheel has sheered off as stated. Have a look at the main wheels pix, the center section is diff from the NLG center

While I can't be 100% sure that the wheels pictured in 6&7 come from the L/H side MLG ( I can't see the L/H MLG in any other pic, and they could have been cargo, though unlikely), they are definately not the NLG. You can clearly see the brake pack on #7. Also C130 NLG does't look like that.

That's fine I could have seeked out pictures of the nose gear but it was just a a guess anyway. It's not new to have rakes on a nose leg, wasn't sure of the Herc had them.
