eightyknots
Hi 80 Bill has a mould for it. It was made by the previous owner. Let me know if you ever need close up images and measurements etc. made in fibreglass. Cheers. I would love some close up pictures, an idea of the extra weight and the approximate cost of the unit. eightyknots
Unfortunately, the picture of the Savannah is a bit blurry. A better picture would be appreciated. From what I can see, Bill's belly pod looks more streamlined (or less agricultural) compared to the ICP factory unit. Also, the factory belly pod is not available for the Savannah S. Hi 80 Bill has been away with his Sav so I've been unable to get the better images and size etc. I won't see him this weekend so will be a couple of weeks before I get the info. Cheers. It would be nice to get further details one day such as the weight, cost, how this attached, etc.

Blueadventures
Fitted in a nice fly before the next hit of rain, 1.1 hours of delightful flying up the valley and out to the coast and back. Hope for same this weekend. https://youtu.be/ClBnVHU4K4I Edited November 13, 2020 by Blueadventures
Blueadventures
Did a change out of the fuel line between the electric fuel pump and the through fire wall connector (5 years and the gates hose was still soft and pliable - good USA quality); planned to fit a fuel tap valve at this time as only fuel valves were before the inline filters and the collector tanks; so when they were turned off still had 6.25 litres to go. Also made it hard to service gasalator; did a check of it while the tap valve fitted; passed. All good now. Did a 6 minute engine run and will do a check fly to verify no leaks and then will seal fire sleeve ends and place signage for tap valve open and closed and stick on floor beside it. Blueadventures
Fitted in an early morning flight in the Nynja for just over the hour out to the coast for a look around after fitting the new fuel hose and valve tap at the electric fuel pump outlet. Have 258 hours up now and still enjoy flying her. Looking forward to doing a trip sometime in the future. Landed back by 0730 hrs and off to work. The air was nice and just a light 10 knot cross wind for the landing. Marian is the sugar mill steam and Cape Hillsborough just north of Mackay is the headland and Mt Blackwood has the tower on its top.
Blueadventures
Took the Nynja to the beach today and caught up with some flying friends. The weather was a 15 knots and the tide was out and the sand hard which made a perfect LZ. Also a mates had his new Skyranger there and it was nice to see every one and meet a couple of new people. https://youtu.be/smUn56XghYA 3 1
Blueadventures
Fitted in a quick fly yesterday and would have liked to stay up longer but had the usual things to do. At the top the aileron trim catch for the wire is visible as I had it fitted yesterday.
Garfly
How does that work, Mike? And how do you find it it so far? Does anyone you know of have rudder trim on Skyranger types?
Blueadventures
At time people ask what is the speeds of the Skyranger Nynja so I did a video on Sunday. Cruise at 5,000 rpm DUC propeller at 95Kts and at 5,500 rpm 105 knots.
