How about some details please, ie; what's the proposed devlopment or should we just sign everything blindly?

The people from the Baramba Flying Club have the info, Newsletter advises that they tried to get their club going at Wondai, as an established airstrip with a building, basically got shut out by the Council, adjacent property owners locked out the flyers. Club now established at Angelfield at Murgon with assistance from land owner and Council.

The principal being i believe we don't want closing airstrips to become endemic.

I thought the Baramba flying club were still at Wondai. http://www.barambahaeroclub.com.au/ It is the Burnettflyers that have set up at Murgon (Anglefield) http://burnettflyers.org/

Cheers

Thanks Sue

I am affraid that I have no knowledge of closures of Wondai Airstrip.

I can report that around 6 months ago there were stakes added to what I believe marked out parcels of land that I believe that the South Burnett council placed to signify to those interested to construct aviation related hangers and infrastructure at the airfield.

I have witnessed the construction of what I believe to be a 4 aircraft Hanger erected on some of these parcels of land situated on near the south eastern corridor of the airstrip.

Thanks All
