I'm currently working on my PPL and should be ready for a check ride next month. I'm looking forward to renting the 172 and moving on to seaplane sometime next year. Very very cool despite the 3 (yes 3) monster storms that came through during the day. Fortunately we drove up so we did not have any worries at the 6:30 PM departure when the last storm came through!
