Its back from the painter and I have taken it to Garry's. Great job by Steve the painter :cheezy grin::cheezy grin::cheezy grin:

I will fully assemble it on Friday but couldn't wait to share a photo.

I'll have it fully rigged next week and post pictures. Some more black pin stripes on the white. Black on white rego when I get the numbers. Matching white wavy lines on the spats.

Connected the controls today and adjusted the travel. Stabiliser is in on too so all the controls are now on and have the correct travel. Just need to put the instrument panel in and commission the CAMIT motor. And connect the brakes and ...........

That looks fantastic, well done. You are in a beautiful part of the world to fly this around, I believe you are near Forster? I used to go there on holidays as a kid. Can't wait to hear how the first flight goes.

I will call in soon Pat and I'm sure that Searey will get finished. Glad to hear you still have it. I would love to set crab traps up the Wallingat and go and check them the next morning by sea plane :-)

HI

Do if you guys remember Mr Mal Don't think He has posted in a while, Well he was selling a Cheetah that had, had a heavy landing. I bought it and have spent the last couple of years restoring it finished painting the fuselage to day, couple of runs but I think it came up pretty good for a non-painter.

I thought you might like to see the results of my labour, The wings and elevator have been finished as well but are not in the pics I need to find a hanger space to complete the assembly and rigging then test flight that's a scary thought.

Obviously the first are after the stack and the next as is today There is a you-tube like as well hopefully it will work.

Cheers

David

Hi David. That looks fantastic. The youtube wont play as its a private file, love to see what you have on there. Sadly I'm about to become a "non Morgan" owner as Ive sold my Cheetah, long story behind my decision but not due to any problem with the plane it is a great machine. After 7 years I've only managed to do 98 hrs in her.
