Guess This Aircraft ?

Recommended Posts

Sorry Glenn. This may help:

The aircraft was flown regularly from 1982-1986 then retired and the registration abandoned. Today, the plane is on display at KMIT.

I've been so busy with Aircraft profiles, I forgot about this thread. It's been 10 days since I loaded the overweight C150. Actually, it's a Quartz Mountain Aerospace Inc 11E. It is a reworked Luscombe Model 11 Sedan from the late 40's. I might do a profile on it.

Next teaser:

Nev, I trust you type with tongue firmly in cheek. This aircraft first flew in the late 1950's, served in the military and is now used for recreational sport flying. Forty five were built, most registrations commencing with D, but a handful  with G registrations. Enough clues.
