red750
Absolutely correct Peter. This next one is interesting. There are nearly 150 listed on airport-data.com, but no photos.Wikipedia had a page for it, but no photo. Google images only found one photo and this is it. GraemeK
Given you can see the sky through it, it has to be a Skye Trek Sky Seeer, er Skyseeker, MK 111.
spacesailor
Green & gold !. Has to be Irish. LoL spacesailor
red750
Go to the head of the class, Graeme. I thought it would take a little longer than that. Expected Nev or someone to ask "Where is the rest of it?", kasper came near enough. Actually, Space, it's Canadian. That's what you call a 'minimum aircraft'. OK, here's the next one. kasper
Well it depends who built it but it’s likely to be the rainbow aircraft manufactured Cheetah... a sort of copy/development of the original sky ranger. Rainbow closed and the design went through it’s growth and add weight phase and emerged as a much bigger aircraft. The Cheetah design was re-engineered and approved in the UK as the Medway SLA series and has full CAA BCARS certification. Medway closed down but it’s still available from another manufacturer. Student Pilot
That's a pretty aircraft. Looks similar to Jessie Anglins Kitten only with a tube 2 spar wing. There have been many derivatives including pups using identical construction, when you think of it nearly all high wing machines are built along Cub lines. facthunter
Why try to improve on perfection? A great thing to muck about in and they can be kept flying virtually forever Nev
red750
That pretty little plane is a Sky Raider, By SkyRaiderLlc, formerly Flying K (read the story here). The business appears to no longer exist as the SkyRaiderLlc domain name is for sale. How about a gyro for a change.
