I thought that the daughter, Whats Up , was the de facto off topic site. However, it does annoy me when the serious topics on this site start to wander off track and no amount of opposite ruddr will bring them back.And Yes - mea culpa

Personally, I rather like the current situational setup.

 

I try to send posts to either site, depending upon content. If it's historic, and connected to aviation then this is the forum. Otherwise, it's WUA.

 

Let's face it, WUA is the ultilmate off topic FORUM. I'm sorry if I don't post on the sexual ones, but I'm too old for that malarkey. Why anyone would wish to mix aviation with 'Other Things' is a mystery to me.

 

I moderate a couple of totally different forums in UK / Europe and have no difficulty in separating wheat from chaff. I CANNOT SEE ANY SENSIBLE REASON to give Ian a load of grief when the current formula appears ( to me anyway ) to be working well.

 

If you are experiencing Trollies, the answer is simple. Moderators, do your job and save Ian for the coding and hard stuff.
