Edison screw (ES) screws to the right, so does SES (Small Edison Screw, MES. (Memory Edison Screw is different).

I'm too old to remember, but do wake up in the middle of the night sometimes with a smile on my face.

Must be thinking I remembered something impotent!

Mr Admin, You forgot the one who changes the subject matter completely and steers the thread in a totally different direction.

BTW, did you know the the GAF Jindivik target towing drone had an Edison screwed flash bulb mounted on its launching trolley? When it went off it told the controllers the craft was airborne. I do wonder if the Jindivik still holds the record as Australia’s most produced home grown airframe? Maybe Jabiru’s taken that title by now?

Does the Official Secrets Act still apply?

Loose lips sink Jindiviks...
