Even if we are going to the shop. The police will stop us and the presumption is that you are out driving for fun. Even if we are going to the shop. The police will stop us and the presumption is that you are out driving for fun. I suspect that this would not stand up in court but it is "a word to the wise". Heh, I’m thinking there’s a bit of an IQ test going on with them ‘restrictions’ - if yer caint think up a valid reason to be out and about then you really should be at home...? Pulled up for driving a historic plate car ?... answer, I’m using it to go to the shop because my daily driver is not working at this time..? . Expect a visit from police to inspect the "problem" with said "daily driver". Historic plates are issued on the basis of restricted levels of driving, and only for use in attending club displays, or for travel for maintenance purposes. He has to keep a logbook, filled out for every day he takes it on the road. He also has a camping bus and a motorbike for transport. Student Pilot Posted April 10, 2020 Share Posted April 10, 2020 One track, VIC historic plates are different to NSW ones. You can use them for whatever you choose to, you have to fill out log book with date and intended drive before you start. Historic plates in VIC are just a percentage of normal rego, either 45 or 90 days. In regards to the law, your are "not permitted" or "not allowed". Apparently yer just hold the rifle about parallel with yer right leg and as yer come up from behind and a few feet above the running buffalo yer shoot it in the back bone - anywhere from tail to head of the backbone will do to bring it down. Land and take the cuts yer want - over a 100kg will strap to the back seat so I’m told..? Good to know the versatility of our aircraft as we may need to go get our own food shortly - Seems there might be a food shortage coming up..... .
